The historic Byrne-Reed House is an ideal venue for many types of events including business meetings, showers and rehearsal dinners, intimate weddings, receptions, parties, and photoshoots. If you are planning an upcoming special occasion, we encourage you to contact us in order to schedule a tour of our elegant facilities.


Venue

Centrally located in downtown Austin, the historic Byrne-Reed House is an elegant new venue available for private and corporate events. The recently restored house and grounds have the beauty and character you expect of an Austin Historic Landmark with all the accommodations of a modern event space including a catering kitchen, elevator, and large restrooms. 

The gracious, 2,600 square foot first floor includes a dining room, gallery, and living room with a spacious 1,000 square foot wraparound porch. The second floor has a bright and comfortable library. The Byrne-Reed House is ADA accessible and parking is available.

Rates

The rate chart below provides introductory pricing for a mid-size event of 50–100 guests. These rental fees should be considered general guidelines for estimating the cost of your event and may vary depending on the size and duration of your occasion. Please contact us regarding pricing options for your event. We are happy to work with you to determine a competitive rental rate tailored to your specific needs.

Rates are subject to change effective May 1, 2016. Non-profit groups may be eligible for a discount off the base rental fee.

A non-refundable down payment of 25% of the contracted rental fee and a refundable event deposit are due upon signing a rental agreement.


Floorplans

The first floor of the Byrne-Reed House includes an entrance foyer, dining room, gallery, living room, large restrooms, and a catering kitchen with and an additional 1,000 square feet of space on the east and south terraces. The second-floor library and additional restrooms are also available. Floorplans of the first floor rooms are available to help you plan for your event:
