The American Presidency lecture series, presented in partnership with the LBJ Presidential Library, focuses on how American presidents make decisions about war and peace through conversations with historians of American politics, diplomacy, and military affairs. The lectures take place Thursdays from 4:00–5:15 p.m.
The final installment of the series invites Melvyn P. Leffler, the Edward Stettinius Emeritus Professor of American History at the University of Virginia, to discuss George W. Bush and the road to war in Iraq. To register, contact the LBJ Presidential Library.
