On February 24, 2012, fifty El Paso-area teachers participated in a teacher enrichment workshop at Region 19 Education Service Center. Teachers listened to lectures given by distinguished scholars Maceo C. Dailey (The University of Texas at El Paso), Eric Walther (University of Houston), Jennifer L. Weber (University of Kansas), and Michael Les Benedict (The Ohio State University) and participated in primary source workshops.
