The American Presidency: Decisions for War and Peace
Public lecture
The American Presidency lecture series, presented in partnership with the LBJ Presidential Library, focuses on how American presidents make decisions about war and peace through conversations with historians of American politics, diplomacy, and military affairs. The lectures take place Thursdays from 4:00–5:15 p.m. CT.
The fifth installment of the series invites Lien-Hang T. Nguyen, Dorothy Borg Associate Professor in the History of the United States and East Asia at Columbia University, to discuss Richard Nixon and the end of America’s war in Vietnam. To register, contact the LBJ Presidential Library.
