Gilded Age Architecture in Galveston
Public lecture

Architectural historian Stephen Fox will deliver a lecture on Gilded Age architecture in Galveston. During the 1890s, the Galveston architecture scene exploded with notable architects designing elaborate residences and commercial structures. This mirrored the creative exuberance in other port cities like New York and Newport, Rhode Island.
