The Treasures of Tutankhamun
Exhibition

Tutankhamen is the most familiar and most popular of ancient Egyptian rulers. When Howard Carter found his tomb in 1922, the whole world paid attention. When his treasures toured the United States, unprecedented crowds lined up to view and learn. The Treasures of Tutankhamun, based on the major traveling display, has been reconstructed to tell the story of Tutankhamen as it was told through Carter’s discovery and the original traveling exhibition. For more information, contact the Grand Prairie Main Library at 972.237.5740.
