Humanities Texas and the Harry Ransom Center cordially invite you to a conversation with New York Times bestselling mystery authors David Lindsey and Archer Mayor. "MYSTERY!" will take place in the Prothro Theater at the Harry Ransom Center at The University of Texas at Austin on Friday, March 1, 2013, at 6 p.m.

David Lindsey, a native Texan, is the author of the Stuart Haydon homicide detective series and nine other critically acclaimed mystery novels, including 2011's Pacific Heights, the first installment in the Marten Fane serial novel.

Archer Mayor is the author of the highly acclaimed Joe Gunther detective series, set in his home state, Vermont. In addition to writing, Mayor is also a death investigator for Vermont's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and a detective for the Windham County Sheriff's Office.

Karen Olsson, a contributing editor at Texas Monthly, will moderate the conversation. Olsson is the author of Waterloo, a political comedy set in a fictionalized version of Austin.
