Teaching Dystopian Literature (Spring 2026 Webinar)

On February 4, 2025, Humanities Texas held a webinar on teaching dystopian literature at secondary level.

Curriculum

Content aligned with the TEKS for secondary-level English language arts (ELA). The webinar explored major, commonly taught works of dystopian fiction and offered strategies for teaching them at the secondary level.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinar emphasized close interaction with scholars, the examination of texts, and the development of effective pedagogical strategies and engaging assignments and activities.
