We are pleased to announce that Humanities Texas will resume our mini-grants program in January 2026!
Mini-grants of up to $2,500 will be available for humanities programs developed for public audiences. Eligible nonprofit organizations must be based in Texas.
Mini-grants are accepted on a rolling basis through our online application portal. Our grants team provides organizations with focused support throughout the entire process, from questions about program design and budgeting to basic grants administration, conducting program evaluation, and writing effective final reports.
Eligible organizations include but are not limited to museums, libraries, state and local governmental entities, community colleges, universities, public radio stations, school districts, historical societies, and arts/cultural centers.
For additional information, please visit the Grants section of our website. New applicants are encouraged to contact Humanities Texas prior to applying for a grant.
Organizations that submitted an eligible letter of intent in 2025 will be invited to submit a full application.
