We are pleased to announce "Behold the People: R. C. Hickman's Photographs of Black Dallas, 1949–1961," a new traveling exhibition created by the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History at The University of Texas at Austin and presented in partnership with Humanities Texas. This exhibition includes fifty-two framed black-and-white photographs documenting life in an African American community in Dallas, Texas.
