On December 12, 2015, book lovers braved the chilly rain that fell on downtown Austin to gather inside the Byrne-Reed House for Humanities Texas's seventh annual Holiday Book Fair. During this festive event, readers of all ages chatted with and had their books inscribed by twenty-three noted authors, whose titles included works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. The crowd also enjoyed hot coffee and a bake sale of homemade and donated treats—our tastiest to date! The event was a great success, with proceeds from the book fair and bake sale benefiting Texas libraries.
