African American History Month Program and Exhibition
Public lecture

The Lubbock Public Library will host a free, public lecture by Lydia Thompson, the director of the School of Art at Texas Tech University, in conjunction with the Humanities Texas exhibition "Black Art: The Importance of Objects and Culture." The lecture will focus on the art pieces found in the exhibition and explore their significance in greater detail.
