Texas history teachers from all over the state enjoyed a full day of speakers and primary source workshops at the Byrne-Reed House on February 10, 2012. Forty-six educators gathered to hear leading scholars discuss various aspects of Texas history in the twentieth century. In addition, Chairman Jim Pitts addressed the teachers, and Stephen Cure (Texas State Historical Association), Christiana Hanson (Texas State History Museum), and Eric Lupfer (Humanities Texas) shared educational resources provided by their respective organizations.
