On December 9, 2017, Humanities Texas held our ninth annual Holiday Book Fair at the historic Byrne-Reed House in Austin. Book lovers of all ages attended the festive event, visiting with twenty-seven noted authors—the highest number of participating authors we've ever had! Available titles included works of fiction and nonfiction with selections for both adult and youth audiences. Visitors also enjoyed hot coffee and a bake sale of homemade treats. The book fair and bake sale proceeds will benefit Hurricane Harvey recovery.
