On January 20, 2026, Humanities Texas held a webinar on teaching with film in the social studies classroom.

Curriculum

Content aligned with the TEKS. The webinar offered effected strategies for discussing and incorporating film in the secondary-level classroom.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinar emphasized close interaction with scholars, the examination of texts, and the development of effective pedagogical strategies and engaging assignments and activities.
