From July 7–8, 2026, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar series offering an in-depth introduction to Texas History for Teachers (TX4T). TX4T is a freely available online resource that provides authoritative, evidence-based historical content and best-practices pedagogical resources for teaching and learning Texas history. The project is a collaboration between the UNT History Department, UNT Libraries, and The Portal to Texas History.

In 2026, Humanities Texas will hold in-person and online programs for classroom teachers covering topics in U.S. history, government, Texas history, and English language arts.
From July 7–9, 2026, in partnership with the Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk at The University of Texas at Austin, Humanities Texas will hold an online institute on teaching reading at the sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade levels for both social studies and English language arts (ELA) teachers.
From July 20–21, 2026, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar series exploring how sports have shaped and reflected U.S. history.
On July 28, 2026, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar facilitated by educators from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum introducing teachers to a variety of resources and strategies to commemorate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
