In February 2014, Humanities Texas held one-day teacher workshops in Austin and Dallas for civics and government teachers. Faculty presentations focused on the U.S. Constitution and the branches of the federal government.

Workshop faculty included Charles Flanagan (NARA Center for Legislative Archives), Richard A. Baker (United States Senate Historical Office), Raymond W. Smock (Shepherd University), retired U.S. federal judge Royal Furgeson (University of North Texas at Dallas), and Jeffrey Engel (Southern Methodist University).
