Using Digital Humanities in the Classroom (2022 Webinars)

From July 11–12, 2022, Humanities Texas held a two-part webinar for ELA and social studies teachers introducing a variety of digital humanities resources.

The institute introduced teachers to various digital humanities resources, tools, and strategies to support effective, engaging teaching in the secondary-level classroom.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinars were teacher-centered, with an emphasis on developing effective pedagogical strategies.

The program faculty included Amy Earhart (Texas A&M University) and Roopika Risam (Dartmouth College).

Location and Schedule

The webinars took place online from July 12–12, 2022. The schedule is available here.

The institute was made possible with major funding from the State of Texas with ongoing support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
