Uncovering History: Humanities Resources for Teaching the Holocaust (Spring 2025 Webinar)


On January 22, 2025, Humanities Texas held a webinar facilitated by an educator from the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum to explore resources for teaching the Holocaust in humanities courses.

Curriculum

Content aligned with the TEKS. Participants were introduced to the museum's K–12 TEKS-aligned lessons and activities that educators can access through a free online database. Participants also learned about resources to bring into the classroom in preparation for Holocaust Remembrance Week.

Like all Humanities Texas teacher programs, the webinars was teacher-centered, with an emphasis on developing effective pedagogical strategies.
