Below you will find information and forms that provide assistance with the administration of your Humanities Texas grant.
Grants staff will check in with grantees during the grant period to track the status of the program and answer any questions regarding the administration and closeout of the grant. This document includes a list of the questions that are asked during the check-in.
All organizations should have a conflict of interest policy in place. You can use this example if you do not have one or are looking to update your materials.
Internal controls are financial management practices that are systematically used to prevent misuse and misappropriation of assests that may result from error, theft, or embezzlement. Internal controls are generally described in written policies that detail the procedures that an organization will follow, as well as who is responsible. Refer to this document for more detail.
Supported programs must meet federally mandated ADA legislation and labor practices requirements.
Grantee organizations must maintain their nonprofit status throughout the grant period term.
Grantee organizations must maintain an active registration on SAM.gov throughout the grant period term. Grantees must provide their SAM UEI upon request. The SAM UEI is a 12-character, alphanumeric ID assigned to an entity by SAM.gov. The SAM UEI is free to have and attain. Grantees must ensure that their account is publicly searchable on System for Award Management (SAM). Refer to this document for assistance with the SAM.gov and SAM UEI.
