In 2025, Humanities Texas will hold in-person and online programs for classroom teachers covering topics in U.S. history, government, Texas history, and English language arts.


On September 15 and 22, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar series to support the use of primary sources in the secondary-level English language classroom. 

On September 16, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar on the American colonies in the British Empire on the eve of the American Revolution. This is the first in a series of Humanities Texas webinars during 2025–2026 commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

On October 6, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar exploring events in British North America from the end of the French and Indian War in 1763 until the eve of independence. This is the second in a series of webinars during 2025–26 commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

On October 7, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar on developing student podcasts and using other digital storytelling tools and new media to support writing instruction in the secondary-level humanities classroom. 

On October 8, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Austin for secondary-level social studies teachers on the U.S. Constitution.

On October 21, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Houston for secondary-level social studies teachers on the politics, reforms, and journalism of the Progressive Era.

On October 29, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Austin for English language arts (ELA) teachers on strategies for teaching drama at the secondary level.

On November 6, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Dallas for secondary-level social studies teachers focused on early Texas history from the Age of Contact through the Spanish Colonial period.

On November 13, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a one-day workshop in Edinburg for English language arts (ELA) teachers focusing on how Texas writers engage the state's history and culture.

On November 17, 2025, Humanities Texas will hold a webinar reexamining the Declaration the Independence through a global lens, tracing its complex origins, international influences, and far-reaching legacy. This is the third in a series of webinars during 2025–2026 commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.
