Rural Grants support organizations offering public humanities programs to rural communities throughout the state.America250 On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Events that encourage celebration, reflection, and commemoration are being planned at national and statewide levels.Texas Originals Developed in partnership with Houston Public Media and Austin PBS, <em>Texas Originals</em> is a radio series profiling individuals whose life and achievements have had a profound influence upon Texas history and culture.
